Mission: Students empowering communities, communities empowering students. Global Brigades mobilize student volunteers and professionals to empower communities in developing countries with programs that improve quality of life while respecting local culture and improving the environment.
Global Brigades is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. The organization empowers university students and professionals who want to make a difference in the world through international skill-based volunteer opportunities. Involvement in Global Brigades allows students to gain a unique resume-building opportunity by engaging in hands-on international work experience.
Global Brigades provides student volunteers the ability to work alongside professionals and to participate in international programs that empower and improve the quality of life of under-resourced communities in developing countries, while respecting local culture.
